This seminar based on Iyengar Yoga comprises a 156-hour curriculum that closely links theory and practice. Participants experience Iyengar Yoga in practice, gain a theoretical foundation and learn to apply the techniques in the prevention of breast cancer and in rehabilitation after breast cancer.
The seminar is organised by the Erich Rothenfußer Akademie at KEM | Evang. Kliniken Essen-Mitte, under the scientific direction of the Chair of Naturopathy, Prof. Dr. Gustav Dobos, University of Duisburg-Essen.
The seminar is a collaboration between Integrative Oncology, led by PD Dr. med. Petra Voiß, and Mind-Body Medicine, led by Dr. rer. medic. Anna Paul, at KEM | Evang. Kliniken Essen-Mitte, and Rita Keller (director of the Light-on-Yoga Academy, training and teaching institute, yoga in prevention and rehabilitation, authorised in 1994 by B.K.S. Iyengar, Grafschaft-Lantershofen).
The foundation seminar takes place on 13 and 14 May 2023 in Essen.
The seminar concludes with certification as a “yoga therapist for breast health”.
